Tribute to Banality

Photographers tend to showcase their best work. This film is an attempt to do the opposite - to create something out of those images I usually skip when browsing through my photo library: bland, boring images with no discernible subject or meaning.

Homecoming

Homecoming is a short animated film exploring the work of Franz Kafka through his homonymous story. The story follows the homecoming of a wayward son back to his fathers' farm where he spent the first years of his life.  The piece focuses on his inability to connect to the environment, and on his hesitation to make any step of approach...

The Windows

The Windows is my attempt to visualize C.P.Cavafy's poem of the same name. The animation was created in 2003, and was a personal project reflecting certain aspects of my own psychology at the time. A translation of the poem can be found below...

Manifesto

By incorporating music and visual arts Fogged Clarity aims to transcend the conventions of a typical literary journal. Our network is extensive and our scope is as broad as thought itself; we are, you are, unconstrained. With that spirit in mind Fogged Clarity will examine the work of authors, artists, scholars, and musicians, providing a home for art and thought that warrants exposure.
