Tim Anderson started painting portraits because of a fascination with mug shots. “It was my method of painting… mugshots that I was given by a cop turned actor, Dennis Farina, who was confused as to why I painted ‘those scumbags.’ He gave me his career’s worth of mugshots from the Chicago PD.” That was over 30 years ago.
