When we met, You took me to the fun house in New Orleans – Standing on the platform at the end of the bridge We watched two children flailing towards us. I smiled at their laughter as they tried to hold onto the bars And they struggled to separate the...

Weapons of Mass Destruction, a Visual Perspective - Miller began this series in 2006 "with a point of view of how awesome and terrifying these battle machines must have seemed to a combat soldier." These photos were taken at the major Cold War sites in the US, where he managed to negotiate his way in and at times was under the supervision of as many as four escorts. He used an 8x10 view camera which he said "required considerable patience of the escorts." I can only imagine the tension...

When in China a couple of years ago, I remember seeing similar scenes. Chicken cages, pigs, tires, bottles, small children... you name it, people transport it in mass quantities. In Totems, Alain Delorme photographs it with much justice.

Manifesto

By incorporating music and visual arts Fogged Clarity aims to transcend the conventions of a typical literary journal. Our network is extensive and our scope is as broad as thought itself; we are, you are, unconstrained. With that spirit in mind Fogged Clarity will examine the work of authors, artists, scholars, and musicians, providing a home for art and thought that warrants exposure.
