Peter Ciccariello is an interdisciplinary, cross-genre artist, poet, and photographer. His work is a pastiche of language and text in 3-D digital environments. He has studied painting and design at Pratt Institute, New York; Rhode Island School of Design, Rhode Island;and Parsons School of Design, New York. His work has been exhibited at Harvard University, Boston, MA, The University of Arizona Poetry Center, Tucson, AZ, and at the “Interruptheque – Language driven digital art” Festival, at Brown University in Providence, RI.
Recent work has appeared both in print and online in, amongst other places, Poetry Magazine, New River: a journal of digital writing and art, dbqp: visualizing poetics, Oregon Literary Review, MOCA (The Museum of Computer Art), Otoliths, and Word For/Word – A journal of new writing. John M. Bennett is curator of the Avant Writing Collection at The Ohio State University Libraries, and has published over 300 books of poetry and other materials. Among the most recent are rOlling COMBers (Potes & Poets Press), Mailer Leaves Ham (Pantograph Press), Loose Watch (Invisible Press), and Chac Prostibulario (with Ivan Arguelles; Pavement Saw Press). He has published, exhibited and performed his word art worldwide in thousands of publications and venues.
